TINY SITE AT KASTURI NAGAR

Client: Deepak. Project details: Site dimensions - 19' x 30' (570 sft),  

 

A two bedroom house for a young couple who had the tiniest BDA site (570 sft) available in Kasturi Nagar: 19' x 30' which is less than half of a regular 30'x40' site and less than a quarter of a 40'x60' site. But that did not mean  we compromised on the size of the house.

It was quite a challenge to fit in all their requirements: a car porch, two shops for renting out, a living room, a separate dining room, a puja, a kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a balcony. All these spaces were spread across ground + two floors. The light and ventilation was not compromised because it is a corner site.
