SUSPENDED STAIRCASE IN YELAHANKA

This under-construction house in Yelahanka is designed for a family of three. It has 4 bedrooms, a home theatre, public spaces such as living, dining and kitchen planned around an internal large garden. The highlights of this house are the dramatic double height volumes of the living room on one side and the double height staircase well on the other side, from which a floating staircase is suspended. Natural light flows into this house from all sides  and from the internal, open garden through full height windows. Granite from the nearby quarry is used to clad the front walls and the floors.
