SERVICE APARTMENT ON VITTAL MALLYA ROAD

Client: Mrs Aggarwal. Project details: 3 bedroom flat

This 3 bedroom service apartment on the 6th floor in Garden Apartments on Vittal Mallya road, overlooks  UB City. The existing tiny windows were enlarged to allow for expansive views of the city. A wood framed, large hatch was introduced in the kitchen wall adjacent to the narrow, dark L-shaped corridor to admit more light to the dark kitchen and the entrance corridor.

Warm teak wood finish has been used in all the wooden surfaces so that it feels more like a home. Mirrors have also been used in different ways in all rooms to make the rooms appear larger and to reflect light.
