COTTAGE AT SAHAKARANAGAR

 

Client: The Raos. Project details: Site dimensions - 30' x 45', BUA - 1,200 sft, 

 

This three bedroom house is designed for an elderly couple on a tight 30' x 45' site, in Sahakaranagar, Bangalore. The clients were very particular about completing the house before a certain date because according to them astrologically, there were no good days for the 'House warming' ceremony after that.

Luckily for them, the contractor who took up the challenge completed in 6 months flat right on time, thanks to meticulous and precision planning. Also it was made possible because it is a single floor house with a mezzanine. The design aesthetics preferred by the clients was that of a simple English 'cottage'.
